He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Helmer and Betty Helmer (Russell); and his father-in-law Jack Hill. He is survived by: his wife Deb Hill of Belle Fourche; his daughters, Tuula Helmer of Rapid City, Abbey Steber (Justin) of Newcastle, WY and Minna Biehl (Steve) of Belle Fourche; his grandchildren, Brennan, Owen, Nate, Natalia, Tavey, Griffen, Macy and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Emma and Blossom; his sisters, Sandra Baker (Mike) of St. Onge and Jennifer LeVee (Bob) of Gillette, WY; his mother-in-law Carol Hill of Rapid City; and his brother-in-law John Hill (Dawnna) of Ralston, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills (715 National St, Belle Fourche, SD 57717).
