He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest "Shorty" Ireland and Betty Ireland (Mansfield); his brothers, Ronnie and Kenny; and his granddaughter Briana.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Ramona Sandaker (Ron), Troy Ireland, Richard Ireland (Barb), Sloan Joens (Ed) and Ray Ireland (Carol); and his siblings, Jerry Ireland (Pam), Hal Ireland (Edie) and Connie Holso (Sieg). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established at BankWest in Kadoka.
