He was predeceased by: his father Ray Messler; and his brother Cal. He is survived by: his mother Avis Messler (Newbold); his brother Leon (Marlene) of Tea; his nieces, Shannon and Abbey; his brother Ed (Karyn); his nephews, Joshua, Robert (Rebecca) and Thomas; and also Bremie of Reseda, CA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dalesburg Lutheran Cemetery (30701-30709 464th Ave, Centerville, SD 57014). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wass Funeral Home (301 N 3rd St, Beresford, SD 57004).
