He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hofer and Edna Hofer; his wife Angie; and his son Terry. He is survived by: his children, Tracee Wuestewald (Brian), Terence Hofer (Linda), Tamara Voegeli (Keith), Trisha Voegeli and Tiffanee Johnson (Ryan); his sister Elvera Deckert; his grandchildren, Alivia Wuestewald, Erik Wuestewald, Jacob Wuestewald, Emily Hofer, Anna Hofer, Alex Hofer, Elizabeth Voegeli, Serena Voegeli, Rachel Voegeli, Christopher Voegeli, Timothy Voegeli, Victorria Voegeli, Vance Voegeli and Abel Johnson; and his pet Walter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wass Funeral Home (301 N 3rd St, Beresford, SD 57004). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beresford Zion United Methodist Church (47106 298th St, Beresford, SD 57004). A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at the Beresford City Cemetery.
