He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Knight and Hattie Knight (Smith); his siblings, Dwayne, Marion Trumm and Janet Shelsta; his in-laws, Lyle and Florence Buskrud; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Buskrud, Milton Trumm, Clayton Shelsta and Fern Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Nila Buskrud; his children, Kirk (Coleen), Koln (Nancy), Kory (Andrea), Leah and Jana (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Ann Marie Gauer (Joe) and Marlene Buskrud. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
