He is survived by: his wife Theola Ekle; his children, Justin (Julia Disburg) and Crissy Strong (Levi); his grandson Creed Gravely; his sibling's children, Diane Weitzman, Dennis Thelen (Deb), Sandra Knudson (Phil) and Kim Thelen; his cousin Elmer Young; and his pets, Sadie and Sammy.
