He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Gravely and Mabel Gravely (Baker); his in-laws, Clarence and Inez Ekle; his sister Colleen; his brother-in-law Jerry Thelen; his niece Karen Thelen; his daughter-in-law Jamie Gravely; and his cousins, Kathy and Carolyn.
He is survived by: his wife Theola Ekle; his children, Justin (Julia Disburg) and Crissy Strong (Levi); his grandson Creed Gravely; his nieces and nephews, Diane Weitzman, Dennis Thelen (Deb), Sandra Knudson (Phil) and Kim Thelen; his cousin Elmer Young; and his pets, Sadie and Sammy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Wass Funeral Home (301 N 3rd St, Beresford, SD 57004). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lands Lutheran Church (47998 292nd St, Hudson, SD 57034).
