She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Olson and Mariam Olson (Danielson) of Los Angeles, California.; her former husband Jim Campbell; her husband Stanford Schmiedt (Stan); her children, Dean (Karleen) of Fort Ripley, MN, Robert (Monica) of Sioux Falls, SD and Barbara (Kevin Wurtz) of Elk Point, SD; her grandchildren, Kelly Schmiedt, Allison Akin (Sterne Akin), Chris Wurtz (Jen Wurtz), Kimberly Sundling (Michael Sundling) and Michael Wurtz (Mikalya Wurtz); and her great grandchildren, Ben Akin, Anniston Akin, Sammy Akin, Aerie Wurtz and Edison Wurtz.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scandia Lutheran Church (251 Broadway St, Centerville, SD 57014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
