She was predeceased by: her parents, Minna Smith and Ernest Smith; her husband Robert Ambur; and her brothers, Kendall and Pierce Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta "Bobbi" Ambur (Jim Means) of Yankton, Jill Wiesner (Gary) of Pickstown, Lori Ambur of Boise, Idaho, Janet Ambur (Steve Galliger) of Brookings and Gregg Ambur (Teresa) of San Diego, California.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Beresford Zion United Methodist Church, a charity of choice, or expressed through an act of kindness in Susan's memory.
