She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Schmid and Edna Schmid (Fredrickson) of Beresford; her former husband Clarence Lawrenson of Beresford; her spouse Dale Cleland; her siblings, Ione Schmid, Neva Speich (Henry), Clifford Schmid (Gladyce) and Bernita Meeker (Grant); and her daughters, Connie Kay and Leta Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Lola Pollard (Lawrenson) and Chris Lawrenson (Carla); her grandchildren, Lee Kunselman (Dee), Crystal (Kunselman), Saufley (Craig), Pryce Pollard, Rita Pollard, Emily (Lawrenson), Scherrer (Josh) and Jeremy Lawrenson; her great grandchild Madyn Kunselman; and her stepchildren, Don, Corene, Karen, Nancy and Calvin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beresford Zion United Methodist Church (47106 298th St, Beresford, SD 57004). A prayer was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
