It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cody Dean Vogt (Bonesteel, South Dakota), who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Cody shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cody farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Vogt and Deborah Vogt; his son Royal Klaus Vogt; his wife Logan Marie Behnk; his sisters, Becky Ann Vogt (John Rusch) and Susan Rae Baer (J. R. Baer); and his grandmother Dorothy Hein. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A prayer will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the City Hall (610 Mellette St, Bonesteel, SD 57317). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
