She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Senn (Hanson) and Albert Senn of Joseph's Hospital; her husband Joe B.; her son Richard; her siblings, Bob Senn and Alberta Oster; her great grandchild Tyler Mertz; and her sons-in-law, David Karst, Doug Ramsell and Paul Mertz.
She is survived by: her children, David Dewald (Sarah) of Mitchell, SD, Steven Dewald of Omaha, NE, Karen Karst of Lincoln, NE, Rosemary Mertz of Goodwin, SD, Marcia Hawley (Gary) of Chino Valley, AZ and Jane Ramsell of Huron, SD. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Lien Funeral Home (3082 2nd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428). A prayer was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church (3023 3rd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428).
