We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2022, at the age of 97, Vanessie Jost of Bowdle, South Dakota, born in Webster, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Adolph Jorgenson and Laura Jorgenson (Rid); her husband John Jost; her son Larry Jost; and her siblings, Marvin Jorgenson, Mildred Engelhart, Grace Foltz and Helen Gulbranson.

She is survived by : her son Dan Jost of Mobridge, SD; her grandsons, Michael Jost (Jenifer) of Fremont, NE and Brian Jost (Aimee) of Sturgis, SD; her great grandchildren, Liam, Sullivan and Morgan; and her brothers, Orville Jorgenson of Webster, SD, Orvis Jorgenson of Webster, SD and Ivan Jorgenson (Margaret) of Waubay, SD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
