He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Finstad and Helga Finstad (Bjerke); his daughter Susan Kay; and his brother Dougie. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hilmoe of Bradley, SD; his children, Scott Finstad (Sarah) of Bradley, SD, Mark Finstad (Sharon) of Watertown, SD, Brad Finstad (Lisa) of Bradley, SD and Lisa Flora (Mark) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Kaci Flaa (Nate), Amanda Finstad, Heather Marcus (Ethan), Jamie Finstad, Josh Finstad, Austin Finstad, McCartney Flora and Sky Flora; his great grandchildren, Abigail and Mika; and his sister Donna Flatten (Lanny) of Bradley, SD..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Calvary Cemetery Fund in rural Bradley, SD, or the Bradley Christian School.
