With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cedric Alan Olson (Brandon, South Dakota), born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2024 at the age of 39. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Vandal, Eunice Oakland, Francis and Edith Olson; his aunt Cheryl Oster; and his niece Maeve Burkhart.

He is survived by: his mother Nancy Olson (Lance Brekke) of Baltic, SD; his wife Lyndsy Olson; his children, Alexander, Tyler Noonan, Guinevere and Oliver Olson; his father Patrick James Olson of Sioux Falls, SD; his brothers, Francis P. Olson of Baltic, SD and Sean M. Olson of Sioux Falls, SD; his aunts and uncles, Paulette Onken of Sioux Falls, SD, Chuck Oster of Centerville, SD, Karen Kohler (Loris) of Hudson, FL, Lisa Boswell of Edmonton, KY, Michael Olson of Sioux Falls, SD, Dennis Olson of Luverne, MN and Colin Olson of Sioux Falls, SD; and his niece Maecie Burkhart of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by many cousins, friends, and extended relatives.
