He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Larry" Lape and Kathy "Katie" Lape (Swanson); his grandparents, Tim, Viola Lape, Howard and Dorothy Swanson; and his cousin Owen Swanson.
He is survived by: his fiancée Roberta "Bob" Hindberg; his sister Alison Leuning (Paul); and also, Kimberlee Hindberg (Nate), Hayden Hindberg, Emmalee Hindberg and Sylvia Bebo. He is also survived by friends that were more like brothers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (1801 Frontier St, Brandon, SD 57005). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
