Jim Edgington Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Edgington of Brandon, South Dakota, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Edgington and Clovis Edgington (Singleton); his brother Michael; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Rasmussen and Rob Thul.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Stenzel of Brandon, SD; his sons, Jeff Edgington (Molly) of Rapid City, SD and Todd Edgington (Lisa) of Fairmont, MN; and his sisters, Betty Rasmussen, Thul of West Bend, IA and Debra Flor (John) of Gretna, NE. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sanford Hospice or the Shriner's Hospital.
