With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene Rae Kirkeby of Brandon, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Myrmoe and Dorothy "Bernice" Myrmoe (Mellom); her husband James Kirkeby; her nephew Jeff Henry; and her son-in-law Ron Heller.
She is survived by: her children, Kari Heller of Brandon, Michael Kirkeby (Wendy) of Brandon and Kristin Oliver (Joshua) of Brandon; her grandchildren, Ella, Brielynn Heller, Joseph, Maxwell Kirkeby, Kambri and Kinsley Oliver; and her siblings, Ione Henry (Byron) of Madison, SD, Lana Myrmoe of Sioux Falls, SD, Dr. Arlin Myrmoe (Karine) of Aberdeen, SD and Rev. Greg Myrmoe (Janice) of Tea, SD.
