He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene Edwards and Irene Milda Finton; his former wife Sandra; his brothers, Danny, Gary and Tom; and his son Mitch.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his siblings, Shirley and Calvin; and his children, Roxy, Barbie (Dan), Earl (Nancy), Daniel (Elaine) and Mick. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
