It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Irene Swanson of Brandon, South Dakota, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Muilenburg and Emma Muilenburg (Collison); her husband Roy A. Swanson Jr.; and her sister Audrey (Wayne). She is survived by: her children, Sandra McNutt (Mike) of Huron, SD, Robert Swanson (Ronda) of Pierre, SD, Roger Swanson (Sandi) of Goddard, KS and Nancy Crapser (Bill) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Jamie McNutt (Glenda) of Doland, SD, Eric McNutt (Sue) of Colorado Springs, CO, Roy Swanson (Kari) of Pierre, SD, Laura Bowman Wieting (Travis) of Pierre, SD, Rachel, Andrea Swanson of Wichita, KS, Beowulf Crapser (Annette) of Sioux Falls, SD, Zayd Crapser (Hamdi) of Sioux Falls, SD, Morrigan Farrow (Kyler) of Sioux Falls, SD and Tyr Crapser of Sioux Falls, SD; her great grandchildren, Dillon, Jamez, Dalton, Emlyn, Travis, Gavin and Isla; her brother Rolland Muilenburg (Marcia); and her great great grandchild Huxley James. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.
