He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin and Leila Taylor, Sr. (Hancock); and his siblings, Norman, Norma, Harvey and Freida.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie (Casey) and Cynthia (Tracy); his wife Jane Taylor; his grandchildren, Taylor (Allison), Alexandra (Joshua), Brock and Victoria (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Brynn, Behren, Maven, Bailey, Stella, Adeline and Lucas; and his sister Barbara.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Messiah New Hope Lutheran Church (5001 E Madison St, Sioux Falls, SD 57110). A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
