With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Schmidt of Bristol, South Dakota, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Schmidt and Elizabeth Schmidt (Krause); his wife Sharon L. Cross; his son Scott Schmidt; his siblings, Arvin (Doris), Harry (Alice), Franklin and Bernice Drake (Earl); and his grandsons, Eric Simon and Chad Simon.

He is survived by : his children, Shawna Simon (Arnie) of Webster, SD and Shelli Schmidt of Webster, SD; and his foster daughter Rhonda O'Daniel. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, one great grandchild.
