He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Sr. Brubakken and Gudrun Brubakken (Smulan); his wife Joyce Brubakken; and his grandson Cason Brubakken. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Brubakken-Sauer (James) and Corey Brubakken (Janet); his grandchildren, Major Adam Brubakken (Kati), Carly Burzynski (Taylor), Andrew Brubakken Collin Brubakken (Caitlin) and Shae Sauer-Elish (Nicholas); and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Warren Eddie Burzynski and Elizabeth Brubakken.
