It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Avery Larson (Britton, South Dakota), who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Avery Larson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Larson and Evelyn Larson (Jennen); his siblings, LeRoy Larson, Penny Waage, Wanda Heurung, Monica Laska and Paul Larson; and his daughter-in-law Angie Larson.

He is survived by : his wife Ann; his children, Jay Larson of Wasilla, Theresa Larson Jackson (Randy) of Des Moines, Tracy Striker of Moorhead and Teri Fuchs of Rapid City; his siblings, Lorretta Larson Mondry and Elton Larson; and his grandchildren, Madeline, Mckinley, Max, Miles Larson, Nicholas, Eleanor Jackson, Ryan Striker, Julia Blevins, Mindy Rogers, Sarah Folsland and Jordan Van Berkum.
