She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolf Sckerl and Cecilia Sckerl (Trautner); her husband Roy L. Winder; her daughter Mary Jo; her siblings, Max Sckerl (Jerry), Maxine Heitmann (Leonard) and Rudy Sckerl (Mary); and her son-in-law Krag Almos.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hartinger (Mark), Dan Winder (Carla), Annette Scanlan (Paul) and BobbiJo Almos; her grandchildren, Brian Hartinger, Matthew Hartinger (Stephanie), Nathan Hartinger (Leslie), Timothy Hartinger, Alyse Winder, Alex Winder (Marie), KC Almos (Bryahna) and Jonathan Van Beek (Sarah); and her close friends, Jeanne Furman and Jane Tyler. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (804 5th St, Britton, SD 57430).
