With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Telkamp in Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard J Donnelly and Doris Donnelly (Lynum); her brother Richard F. Donnelly (Roger E. Telkamp); and her grandson Alexander Telkamp. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Jamison (Bill) of Fargo, ND, Ryan Telkamp (JoEllen) of Torrance, CA and Larry Telkamp (Marta) of Britton, SD.; her brother Michael Jon Donnelly of Sioux Falls; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann Donnelly of Longmont, CO..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (337 8th St, Brookings, SD 57006). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
