She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Bitterman and Molly Bitterman; and her husband Duane Gehring. She is survived by: her children, Scott Gehring (Suzy), Glen Gehring (Jessica) and Jennifer Hinricher (Scott). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eidsness Funeral Home (1617 Orchard Dr, Brookings, SD 57006). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
