Clarice Elverud Obituary
We bid farewell to Clarice Elverud (Brookings, South Dakota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 7, 2025 at the age of 102. Clarice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Elverud; her son Harold Vostad; her parents, Herman Selland and Clara Selland (Mehlum); and her great grandchildren, Gabriel Keizer and Harry Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Elverud (Nancy), Kathleen Nusz (Jerome), Cynthia Ulvestad (Clyde), Mary Lou Albright and Julie Oines (Wes); and her grandchildren, Nicole Salonen (Dana), Amber Khanna (Vikas), Heather Caron (Mike), Crystal Paone (Jon), Ruben Nusz (Amanda), Ben Nusz, Sarah Keizer (Loren), Andrea Warne (Jordan), Carrie Mason (Matt), Tara Mohrlang (Jake), Matt Keiser, Tom Keiser, Justin Vostad and Brandon Vostad. She is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church-Volga (623 Kasan Ave, Volga, SD 57071). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be donated to the First Lutheran Cemetery or First Lutheran Church of Volga.
