He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cook and Elsie Cook (Kleveter); his brother David Cook; and his parents-in-law, Verle, Lorraine Janssen, Albert and Freda Appel.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Zmuda; his children, Curt (Sandie) of Sauk Rapids, MN, Cal (Bev) of Brookings, SD, Kay Howey (Rick) of Brookings, SD and Gary Zmuda of Sioux Falls, SD; and his brother Mike Cook (Roxy) of Bruce, SD. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
