He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rittershaus and Amelia Rittershaus; and his sisters, Irma Cordelia Peabody and Eugenia Rae Himes. He is survived by: his wife Ardyne Marie Eggert; his children, Mary Gubbrud (Grant), John Rittershaus (Angie) and Bill Rittershaus (Gina); his grandchildren, Jacob Gubbrud (Mackayla), Dylan Rittershaus, Grace Gubbrud and Dalton Rittershaus; and his great grandchildren, Magdalene Gubbrud and Eden Gubbrud.
