She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludvig Petersen and Dagney Petersen (Kjergaard); her husband Dwaine Minor; and her son-in-law Jeff White. She is survived by: her children, Brad Minor (Tarri) of Wentworth, SD, Linda White of Eua Claire, WI and Lisa Friedrich (Cliff) of Brookings, SD; her grandchildren, Clayton, Kelly, Carrie, Michael Minor, Nicholas, Audrey and Eric White; and her siblings, Marian Rude, Irene Pearson, Robert Petersen (Marvelyn), Lyle Petersen (Norma) and Dennis Petersen (Jan). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rude's Funeral Home (105 W 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Nunda Grace Lutheran Church (203 3rd St, Nunda, SD 57050).
