He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Janet Newman (George) and David Fiedler; his grandchildren, Vance Newman (Jessica), Danielle Meyer (Bill), Kayla Ponto (Cole), Keith Newman (Lydia) and Marty Fiedler; and his sisters, Lorna Chronerberry, Joyce Estrem (Phil), Donna Kloker (David), Susan Minarik (Rodney), Margie Fiedler and Kari Fiedler. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts may be designated for the Jerome and Mary Fiedler Education Scholarship at SDSU Foundation, Ascension Lutheran Feeding Brookings, or a charity of your choice.
