He was predeceased by: his parents, Halvor and Marie; his siblings, Bob and Darlean Rudebusch; his siblings-in-law, Melvin Rudebusch, Delores Nelson and Bun Nelson; his parents-in-law, Bill and Gerry Hazelton; and his niece Ashley Hazelton.
He is survived by: his wife Jeri of Brookings, SD.; his daughters, Stacey Watt, Sherie Aulner (Kent), Amy Valnes (Kevin) and Kristi League (Ron); his grandchildren, Teagen, Carsten, Kiana, Kole (Jodi), Kade, Brad (Brittany), Abbie, Kayla (Spencer), Charlotte and Cooper; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Haidyn, Taytum, Nicholi and Roland; his brothers, Halvor and Ken; and his siblings-in-law, Marlys Nelson, Carla Downer (Chuck) and Rob Hazelton (Tina). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to the Children's Miracle Network of South Dakota or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
