It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lynette Clasen of Brookings, South Dakota, born in Hendricks, Minnesota, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Maurice Madsen and Ruth Madsen (Hartley); her husband Gary; her brothers, David Madsen and Steven Madsen; and her sister-in-law Barb Madsen.

She is survived by : her children, Amanda Clasen of Brookings, SD, Alyssa Clasen of Apple Valley, MN and Garret Clasen (Abby) of Urbandale, IA; her grandchildren, Grace, Liam and Emma; and her siblings, James Madsen of Watertown, SD and Cheryl Madsen of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
