She was predeceased by: her husband Verdie Bell; her parents, Martin Winjum and Ida Winjum Tarum (Malm); and her brothers, Dr. Robert Winjum (Helen), Dr. Francis Winjum (Anne), Melvin Winjum (Elizabeth) and John Winjum (Lois).
She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnn Foppe (Thomas) of Jamestown and Karen Bell of Watertown; her brother Dr. Ken Winjum (Emelia); her grandchildren, Thomas Foppe, Ben Foppe (Holly), Gabe Foppe (Emily), Grant Foppe (Jennifer), Claire Foppe (Alex Yanosko), Courtney Nash-Keller (Wyatt), Paige Schwaegerl (Jack), Nolan Sonnenburg (Tatum) and Jack Sonnenburg; and her great grandchildren, Bennett, Baker, Lila Nash-Keller, Winnie, Rayleigh Sonnenburg and JoLia Foppe.
