He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Moriarty (Eibner) and John J. Moriarty; his siblings, John Joseph, James and Cecilia Multhauf; his stepson Marc Schumacher; and his nephews, Gregory, Patrick and Charles Moriarty.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his stepson Miles Schumacher (Vickie) of Sioux Falls; his stepgrandson Marty Schumacher (Jenna); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Oziah and Adelaide of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepgranddaughter Blair of Spearfish, SD; his stepdaughter-in-law Angie Schumacher; and his stepgrandchildren, Blae Schumacher (Ashtyn), Diego and Jesse of Reno, NV.. He is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Paul requested that memorials be made to St. Thomas More Catholic School, 1700 8th St. S, Brookings SD 57006.
