It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randel H. Hillerud of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Henry Hillerud; his fathers-in-law, Duane Hornback and Ray Babcock; his nephew Sheldon Hornback; and his aunt Lila Bauman.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Hillerud; his son Mike Geise (Rebecka); his grandsons, James and William; his siblings, Curtis Hillerud, Deb Rud (Greg) and Ginny Flute (Ron); his former wife Patty Hillerud; his children, Tonya Laabs, James Hillerud (Amanda) and William Hillerud; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Hornback (Tonya), Peggy Rindels and Debbie Keller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as five grandchildren.
