With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Hartley of Brookings, South Dakota, born in Hendricks, Minnesota, who passed away on December 2, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hartley and Zena Hartley (DeVries). She is survived by: her son Nick; her daughter-in-law Heather Hartley of Edmond, OK; her pet Dakota; and her siblings, Gloria Jensen of Brookings and David Hartley of Whitewood. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephew, and her many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth requested that donations be made to help Nick and Heather with their dreams of adopting her first grandchild.
