She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ring and Margaret Ring (Murphy); her husband Judson Garwood; her daughter Deborah McGuire; and her son-in-law Douglas Henrich.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Garwood (Angela) of McKinney, TX and Amy Henrich-Alber (Todd) of White Lake. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
