Steven left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Jo; his sister Bonnie Rae; his sister-in-law Linda Berseth; and his nephew Shawn Berseth.
He is survived by: his wife Benda; his children, Craig of Brookings and Brienne Torgrude (Joel) of Brandon; his grandchildren, Autumn, Annika Berseth, Logan and Palmer Torgrude; and his brothers, Mike, Brian (Connie) and Neil (Kim).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (337 8th St, Brookings, SD 57006).
