We bid farewell to Wallace Ray Bothwell of Brookings, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 19, 2025 at the age of 97. Wallace touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Bothwell and Lillian Bothwell (Patridge); his wife Byrnis Giebink; his son Michael; and his siblings, Betty Bothwell, Elaine Poppe, Robert Bothwell and Bonnie Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Bothwell (Lisa) of Colman, SD, Randall Bothwell of Sioux Falls, SD, Mark Bothwell (Kristy) of Vermillion, SD and Rhonda Miller (Jason) of Sioux Falls, SD.; his grandchildren, Aaron Miller, Dustin Bothwell (Miranda Lasnetski), Nick Bothwell (Lesley Lindholm), Stephanie Cawiezell (Steven), Josh Adelmann, Joseph Adelmann, Ally Price (Wyatt) and Cody Behlings; his brother Richard Bothwell; and his close friend Dolores Lengkeek. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials will be donated in Wally's name to the Midwest Honor Flight.
