She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Skovlund and Mabel Skovlund (Holter); her spouse Merle Ulvestad; her son Douglas; and her siblings, Olaf, Floyd, Adolph, Ralph, Leon, Alden, Gerald, Melvin, Harold, Lucille, Evelyn Harpestad, Olga Hartley, Ellen Krogh and Esther Boettcher.
She is survived by: her children, Arlyn Ulvestad (Holly) of Brookings and Julie Hanson of Bruce; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jesse Ulvestad (Erin), Chase Hanson (Lindsey) and Shelby; and her great grandchildren, Quinn, Claire, Elise, Cash, Eden and Mabel.
