Though Phillip may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his sister Lolita Myers; and his former wife Effie Mae Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Rev. Marjie Bertsch of Bryant, SD; his children, Brian (Judy) of Lake Charles, LA, Tyrelle Cating (Tommy) of Baton Rouge, LA, Tonya Veazey (John) of Prairieville, LA, Lataine Fleming (Mark) of Sulphur, LA and Diahn Landry of West Lake, LA; and his stepchildren, Beth Holdridge of Blair, NE and Jeremy Bertsch (Amber-Lily) of Apple Valley, MN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
