He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendall Hills and Dorothy Hills; and his sister Karen Semroska. He is survived by: his wife Leona Hills; his children, Veronica "Ronni" Hills, Alema Hills, Ramona Fair, Antonio Hills and Randall Hills; and his stepchildren, David Pershall, Daniel Pershall (Pershall), Angela Pershall and Therese Pershall (Clayt Birmingham). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (1049 Howard St, Sturgis, SD 57785). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the American Legion (1045 Jennings Ave, Hot Springs, SD 57747).
