He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Shinabarger and Lena Shinabarger (Schwandt); his wife Diana Lee Derby; his daughter Charlotte Ottmo; and his siblings, Donald, Clarence "Buster" Shinabarger, Eleanor Lindholm and Gladys Baird Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Dillard (Raymond) of Castroville, TX and Warren (Amy Seales) of Rapid City; his grandchildren, Ronald, Jonathan, Aleisha, Brent, Brian, Lakrisha, Brittney, Raymond and Warren; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Conner, Landon, Cade, Addasyn, Petyon, Hubert, Zach, James, Ryker, Winter, Kyzer, Kynzlee, Tay'lee, Tayten, Theo and Niah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
