Deanna Darlene Kahler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deanna Darlene Kahler of Burke, South Dakota, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lingenfelter and Mildred Lingenfelter (Calkins) of Bassett, NE; her husband Kenneth R. Kahler of Herrick, SD; and her siblings, Mildred Shepperd, William Lingenfelter (Bill), Denton Lingenfelter (Mac) and Merlon Lingenfelter.
She is survived by: her children, Debra MacDonald (Rick) of Hermosa, SD, Larry Kahler of Parker, SD, Russell Kahler of Hartville, MO, Tony Kahler of Berger, MO, Brenda Pounds (Dale) of Houston, MO and Linda Boes (Byrain) of Burke, SD.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 52 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clausen Funeral Home (226 E 8th St, Burke, SD 57538). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Herrick Cemetery (226 E 8th St, Burke, SD 57538).
