He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Schoenefeld and Vera Schoenefeld (Sieh); his in-laws, Milo and Lovera Reber; his son Lance Scot; his siblings, Wayne Schoenefeld and Shirley Stoltenberg; his brother-in-law Nilo Reber; and his son-in-law Dan Raasch.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Schoenefeld of Butte; his children, Corina Raasch of Grand Island, Troy Schoenefeld of Shelton and Amanda Goodwin (Justin) of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Ty Schoenefeld (Jordan), Mitch Raasch, Kyle Raasch (Megan Johnson), Lilly Goodwin, Griffin Goodwin and Layla Goodwin; his great grandchildren, Brinley Schoenefeld and Sawyer Schoenefeld; his brother Dale Schoenefeld (Sara) of Tulsa, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Schoenefeld of Burke, SD, Myra Reis of Burke, SD, Ken Stoltenberg of Atkinson, NE, Dale Reber of Burke, SD and Donn Reber (Kathy) of Gregory, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Butte or Butte Volunteer Fire Department.
