Inez Naomi Dockendorf Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inez Naomi Dockendorf of Burke, South Dakota, born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Darrel Dockendorf; her parents, Joe Melom and Leona Melom; her in-laws, Leo and Frances Dockendorf; her siblings-in-law, Leon and Carolynn Dockendorf; and her niece Tammy Leitheiser.
She is survived by: her husband Ron; her children, Tim Dockendorf (Amy), Lonny Dockendorf (Kandi) and Kim Hanson (Robert); her grandchildren, Karli Burg (Brandon), Dillon Jensen (Katie), Hannah Hanson, Lindsey Dockendorf, Hayley Hanson and Logan Dockendorf; and her siblings, Eunice Vance (Mike), Thelma Lehman (Jim), Grace Watne (Lynn) and Neil Melom (Marlene). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
But little by little over the years, her Parkinson's Disease further debilitated her once ambitious body & mind, necessitating her move into the Winner Regional Long Term Care Center in February of 2023.
