He is survived by: his wife Diane Deffenbaugh; his daughters, Lisa Mayer (Steve) of Burke, SD, Kelly Klaudt (Scott) of Gregory, SD and Jennifer Klundt (Lonnie) of Gregory, SD; and his siblings, Terry Gunvordahl of Calgary Ontario, Jack Gunvordahl of Burke, SD, Chris Schmitz of Florida, Penelope Boccaccio Parker, Chistine Parker, Charle Boccaccio Parker and Peter Boccaccio Parker. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
