She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Viet and Elstienna Viet (Wieman); her husband Alfred Puthoff; her daughters, Judy Puthoff and Donna Stewart; her son-in-law Terry Keiser; her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew Townsend and Ashley Peterson; her great grandchild Jaycee Beckman; and her siblings, Tillena Carlson, Delores Radel and Lawrence Viet.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Townsend of Canistota, Jeanette Powell (Kenny) of Harrisburg, Theresa Peterson of Sioux Falls, Kenny Puthoff of Canistota, Kristy Thielsen (Dan) of Mitchell, Mary Keiser of Sioux Falls, Deanna Tieszen (Rach) of Sioux Falls, Brian Puthoff (Kathie) of Harrisburg, Jeff Puthoff of Sioux Falls and Brad Puthoff (Robin) of Watertown; her siblings, Peter Viet of Sioux Falls, Shirley Matthies (Orville) of Chancellor and Bob Viet (Theola) of Sioux Falls; and her sister-in-law Marian Puthoff of Hartford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
