It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nathan Engbarth of Canistota, South Dakota, who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Cynthia Engbarth (Scotting); his grandparents, John, Georgianna Engbarth, Tom and Margaret Scotting; his uncle Rich DeRuyter; and his friend Larry Koenig.

He is survived by: his father Patrick Engbarth (Cynthia) of Canistota; his wife Nicole of Canistota; his children, Riley (Emily) of Ivanhoe, MN, Jenna of Watertown, SD and Aidan of Philip, SD; his brothers, Brad (Malinda) of Canistota and Justin (Carla) of Canistota; and his pet Rip. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be put towards a charity of the family's choice.
